Complex parts, such as the <strong>X-connection<\/strong> and specially designed collectors, are cast at the in-house titanium foundry. The exhaust system has no exhaust valves, and the main exhaust tubes have an increased diameter. Alongside acoustic reflectors on the tailpipes, a special resonator, and the X-connection, which allows gases from both sides of the engine to mix, these elements create a refined Akrapovi\u010d sound experience in all drive modes, delivering a deep and <strong>sporty tone.<\/strong> An additional damping element is added to the link pipe, which enhances the sound quality and comfort of the Akrapovi\u010d exhaust, while offering a unique sound experience. Power gains of <strong>8.5 kW (11.5 hp)<\/strong> at 6,150 rpm and torque increases of <strong>15.6 Nm<\/strong> at 2,550 rpm have been recorded when tested on the Akrapovi\u010d dyno against a BMW M5 with a standard stock exhaust. This exhaust system is <strong>41.1% (15.44 kg) <\/strong>lighter than the standard stock version.<\/p>\n<p>It has been developed for cars without gasoline particulate filters.
