The X-connection, allowing gases from both sides of the engine to mix in a unique symphony, is cast at the in-house titanium foundry. The set delivers a weight reduction of<strong> 72.6% (19.56 kg) <\/strong>compared to the standard stock part. When combined with the Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system, power gains of <strong>8.5 kW (11.5 hp) <\/strong>at 6,150 rpm and torque increases of <strong>15.6 Nm<\/strong> at 2,550 rpm have been achieved when tested on the Akrapovi\u010d dyno against a BMW M5 with a standard stock exhaust.<\/p>\n<p>The acoustic feedback to the driver and passengers, the sound level, and the content evolve through the rpm and load, while enjoyable backfires accompany downshifts and a rich and comfortable sound is produced when cruising.<\/p>\n<p>When installing the Akrapovi\u010d Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium), remapping the ECU is mandatory to prevent potential \u201ccheck engine light\u201d warning signals.
